Did you know that in certain European countries it is illegal to display any sort of Nazi symbol? What the fascist white supremacist neo-Nazi scum of Germany, France, etc. have been doing is displaying the Confederate flag instead, because there is no ban on it.
So the next time someone tries to tell you that the flag of the Confederacy has nothing to do with racism, remember that actual Nazis are using it as their preferred symbol, and please remind them that they are actually pieces of literal shit.

While it may be called the “Confederate Flag” it never historically represented the Confederate States of America. Nor was it ever officially recognized as the national flag. Did you know that during World War II that some of the U.S. military units with Southern nicknames, or made up largely of Southerners, made the flag their unofficial emblem?
Did you know that after the Battle of Okinawa, a Confederate Flag flew for 3 days before it was taken down and replaced by the American Flag?
The flag traditionally represented the South’s resistance to Northern political dominance.
Did you know that the swastika literally means “well-being.”? Most people have forgotten that and only link it to Hitler.

Yes because I’m sure literal neo-Nazis are using the swastika to mean ‘well-being’.
Your commentary is unnecessary, unhelpful and irrelevant.

it doesn’t fucking matter what the original swastika means, or what its intended use was. I could fucking pull up a bunch of archaeological findings and go wowee look at all these neat scandinavian swastika symbols on viking age rune stones its nice that they all mean good luck etc etc, but it doesn’t change the fact that in this day and this age these images are symbols of literal neo-nazis who still commit murders and violence to this day USING these symbols.

What is distinct and fantastic about Gus is that he is an adversary whose scariness is the opposite of belligerence. He’s not scary because he yells at you, he’s terrifying because of how placid and controlled he is. x

"I suffered for years because I was scared to be out. My spirit suffered, my mental health suffered, and my relationships suffered. And I’m standing here today, with all of you, on the other side of that pain. And I am young, yes. But what I have learned is that love—the beauty of it, the joy of it, and yes, even the pain of it—is the most incredible gift to give and to receive as a human being. And we deserve to experience love fully, equally, without shame, and without compromise."
